Tanning Tips

Before

Exfoliate and moisturize: 24 hours before you apply your self tan, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and problem areas
Wax or shave at least 48 hours prior to treatment.: this allows the pores time to close. Dotting in pores may appear if not adhered to.
Don’t apply moisturiser, perfume, deodorant or makeup on the day of application.: these products may act as a barrier against your skin and can prevent the tanning actives from developing evenly.

After

Wear dark loose clothing: tight clothing or underwear may cause marks. wear loose fitting shoes.
Moisturize everyday after applying your self tan: or consider using a gradual tan so that your tan is continually being topped up and your tan lasts longer.
After day 5, exfoliate with a soft body polish on a daily basis: this help your skin absorb even more moisturizer and keep it looking and feeling gorgeous. This also helps the tan fade naturally, rather than in patches.

How to Use

Prep skin

Rinse in 1-3 hours

For a streak-free self tan:

Apply to clean, exfoliated skin using our Bronze On Applicator Mitt
Use sparingly on elbows, knees and ankles. Wash hands after application.
Rinse in lukewarm water after 1-3+ hours

CHOOSE HOW DARK YOU WANT TO GO. Shower in 1 hour for a natural tan. Leave on longer, for a deeper darker skin finish. Rinse with lukewarm water only for 45 seconds. Do not use soap or scrubs. Following your first shower your tan will continue to deepen in color over the next 24 hours. Regular showering may be taken 8-16 hours after application.

We recommend using our Bronze On Applicator Mitt and using only 15ml / 0.5fl oz per full body tan. You should achieve 10-15 tans per bottle. If you dare double coat we recommend using 25ml /0.85fl oz.

Coconut Oil: Rich in proteins and vitamin E, coconut oil keeps skin healthy, nourished and rejuvenated. It hydrates and softens skin as it sinks deep into cells - coconut oil is able to penetrate your skin on a deeper level because of its low molecular weight and the way it bonds with proteins.
Naturally Derived DHA: All Mine sunless tanning products contain naturally derived DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugarcane. The active ingredient in all sunless tans, DHA interacts with amino acids on skin cells to produce a darker tan effect.
Erythrulose: Erythrulose is a natural sugar found in berries that reacts with the amino acids in your skin to produce a tan. When used in conjunction with DHA it produces a more even, longer-lasting, streak free tan.
